MHEC-MLS

The Massachusetts Library System (MLS) www.masslibsystem.org in collaboration with the Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium (MHEC) for a Library Cooperative Purchasing Program has resulted in providing its combined membership cost savings for the procurement of library materials, services and supplies through the advantage of cooperative buying power pricing.

Contracts are in place for Library Materials and Supplies, Books and Media, and Print Subscription Management Services. MHEC and MLS members can find details for these contracts on the MHEC homepage. With this partnership, MLS member libraries will have the option to utilize the MHEC library contracts as MLS affiliates or to join the MHEC as an associate member in order to take advantage of the MHEC complete portfolio of over 50 contracts and extensive discounts. Membership is at no cost.
